“I believe the people at Tridge are highly structured in their approach, but what stands out most is the passion and willingness to support one another”

Q. Could you introduce yourself?

▶ Hi, I’m Stan, and I’m from France. Until recently, I was the CEO and co-founder of Le Murmur de la Café, a company I built from the ground up. We specialized in distributing wine and craft beer to retailers and the hospitality sector across France. Over five years, I led sales and marketing, built a network of over 100 suppliers and 600 clients, and drove significant revenue and customer retention growth. A few months ago, I sold my shares to pursue new challenges. Before that, I worked at tech companies like Google and Capgemini, focusing on digital transformation projects like AI-driven attribution models and UX optimization. Now, I’ve taken on a new adventure at Tridge!

Q. What does the Growth Solutions team do and currently what is your role in the team?

▶ At Tridge, we blend technology and human intelligence to transform global food and agriculture trade. I see our team as a crucial part of that human intelligence. Our mission is to help businesses, whether they’re agribusinesses, farmers, service providers, retailers, or manufacturers to make smarter, data-driven decisions using our platform. I recently joined Joonhyuk’s team as an Account Executive for the Data Solution, focusing on expanding our presence in France and strengthening relationships with key industry stakeholders.

Q. Looking back at your previous experiences, what aspect of your past role helps you prepare for your current position at Tridge?

▶ Interesting questions. I ran Le Murmur de la Café for some time so my negotiation skills sharpened and it has given me a deep understanding of sales. My time in tech also helped me develop insights into data-driven decision-making and digital transformation. At Tridge, this combination allows me to see the big picture on how data can genuinely help our clients to make better decisions.

Q.  What was your first impression of working with people from all around the world, especially with a team leader based outside your country?

▶ It has always been exciting! The best part of working in a global company is the diverse perspectives and experiences you are exposed to. Every conversation brings new ideas and ways of thinking, which pushes us to be better problem solvers. I love the collaborative culture as you’re constantly learning from teammates worldwide. It’s a really dynamic and inspiring environment to be in.

Q. How would you describe the way Tridge works?

▶ I believe the people at Tridge are highly structured in their approach. The company has clear processes in place, which is essential, especially as it continues to grow rapidly. What stands out the most is the passion and willingness to support one another. Everyone I’ve met is deeply invested in their work and genuinely willing to help each other. It’s not just about hitting targets but it’s about working together toward a shared mission. That kind of mindset makes a huge difference.

Q. What recommendations or tips that you find useful for someone who has never experienced remote work before?

▶ Definitely, first, working in a co-working environment can be highly beneficial. You would be more focused and feel the working environment. Secondly, as my manager, Mr. Joon recommended, it is essential to connect with as many colleagues as possible across different teams during the first few weeks. Engaging with them from diverse backgrounds and experiences provides valuable insights. In my first weeks, I had 50 to 60 coffee chats, where we exchanged introductions, discussed our experiences, and our roles. These quick talks helped me understand how we can best work together, ensuring that I not only grasp their responsibilities but also identify ways to contribute effectively.

Q. How was your recruitment process?

▶ For me, it was smooth, transparent, and well-structured. The recruiter I worked with was incredibly supportive and has always kept me updated. He has been very dedicated throughout the process. He is also very consistent in providing any updates to me. I appreciated how he advocated for my profile, ensuring it was well-positioned with top management and guiding me through every step of the journey. After receiving my first offer, I had another opportunity to be interviewed with my manager, Mr. Joon, who had recently joined Tridge. This conversation was particularly valuable, as it allowed me to gain deeper insights into his strategy for sales and marketing. Overall, I had a great experience connecting with everyone involved in the process.

Q. What were some key onboarding elements that helped you settle in?

Definitely my team. There weren’t formal training sessions, but they took it upon themselves to guide me through the onboarding process. They included me in demo calls, where I got to observe different approaches to engaging prospects. Seeing those real-time interactions was incredibly valuable so that I can learn what works, what doesn’t, and how to deliver impactful product demos..

Q. What is the one thing you felt most confident about before joining Tridge, and how has that confidence evolved after one month with us?

▶ Understanding our solution and how we can add value to different customer segments has been a key focus for me since joining Tridge. Initially, I had a basic understanding of Tridge’s platform, but over the first few weeks, I’ve gained knowledge of its features and functionalities. A[art from just knowing how the platform works, it’s essential to grasp how we can effectively support different types of clients. I believe that, over time—through interactions with prospects and pitching our solutions—I will gain even clearer insights into how we can best serve them and make a meaningful impact on their business.

Q. How did your expectations before joining Tridge compare to your experience after one month with us?

▶ When I joined Tridge, I saw the sales role as an opportunity to directly impact business growth. To me, sales is about building strong relationships, understanding each client's unique challenges, and ultimately helping them make smarter, data-driven decisions. With my background in both entrepreneurship and corporate environments, I was excited to bring a structured, results-oriented approach to this role. While I primarily focused on onboarding during my first month, I am truly grateful to my manager for dedicating time to ensure a comprehensive onboarding experience. This has allowed me to understand Tridge’s mission, values, and solutions, equipping me to better guide our customers.

Q. What would your advice be for the future joiners looking to build careers here in Tridge?

▶ Effective communication is key. Try to meet as many Tridgers as possible—learn from them, listen, and ask questions. Our product may seem simple, but it is highly complex, with numerous features to understand. The best way to grasp everything is by being curious and proactive. Engage with colleagues, discuss the product, and stay updated. Even in just three weeks, new solutions continue to emerge, making it essential to stay informed and adaptable.

Q. If you can take the top three words you heard the most actually so far?

▶ Data. I heard a lot about data. Data insights, analytics and AI. I think collaboration, working together, that's a few really strong words that I hear a lot
